Dear Friends of ASB:
Before we pause for a few days to enjoy the holidays, I wanted to share a note
of thanks with all of you. It has been quite a year, but despite the
challenges, your support has enabled all of us at ASB to continue our support
of the people we serve and each other in ways that have been especially
meaningful, given these many months of needing to be apart and virtual rather
than together, in person.
Not only have skills training and education continued, but we’ve provided
important social support and enrichment experiences for our participants and
learners to help them feel engaged and inspired. We’re offering more connections
to community partners, and with our shift to remote programming, we’ve also
discovered that our reach and access can grow and be impactful, even in an
at-home teaching and learning environment.
For all of this and more, I am grateful. Thank you again for all you do
for ASB. I wish you a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season.
