This holiday season, we find ourselves in a refreshing circumstance — one that brims of joy and hope. Since the outset of the pandemic, we have all navigated change and sacrifice, leaning on each other for support and witnessing each other’s triumphs.
For ASB, our remote services, though borne of necessity, have transformed the way that we provide training, build skills, and provide links between participants and the vast resources and experiences of Greater Philadelphia. In fact, our programs have become more accessible with the ability to reach anyone, anywhere with adaptive technology training, life skills courses, peer groups, as well as activities like virtual and audio-described arts performances, yoga classes, and more. In turn, the number of new participants utilizing ASB courses and experiences has more than doubled in the past year as we continue to be a destination – virtually for now – for anyone on the vision loss continuum.
As we continue to make our way through this journey, we invite you to join us by making a gift to ASB today. Your donation will help us to expand our breadth of remote services along with crucial community partnerships so that all Philadelphians with vision loss can have access to the resources and supports to live as independently as they wish.
Thank you for your dedication to ASB. Wishing you the happiest of holiday seasons!
